radio code

hi i have a vw beta radio in my 2004  sharan i have had the battery off and the radio says  safe and 1000  when i have had battery off before it has said learn and then comes on  but not this time
the numbers i can see on the radio are
815 7649 236 360

jo 035 152e or jo 635 152e cant make it out
can any one help me get code   thank you

The VW radios can be temperamental when it comes to learning the code, it has to see the vin from the ecu and cluster to unlock. Getting a code is also much harder then the Ford radios but in my experience it will unlock it time, although sometimes takes a day or two. Disconnecting the battery for 10 mins again might also get it to relearn
