mk2 or mk3

Quick one ,
want to get another galaxy should I stick with mk2 or go for 3.
Most have told me to stay with m2,.Not worried about folding seats,Kids like the large seats in m2. Only have Ã,£5k.
Wots your thoughts.

I had debated this. If to keep my Mk2 or upgrade to the Mk3.

There are pro and con for both.
If your going MK2 diesel / 2.8 petrol then its a pro as it VW engine for the price of a ford badge.

I like the Mk3 for looks but thats it. I've been a ford order since learning to drive, KA, Fiesta, Focus, Mondeo and now Galaxy.
And i have to say the Galaxy has been the most reliable car i have owned.
I currently have the 2.3 petrol, so the ford engine. Im looking at upgrading to diesel soon and will be going straight for a Mk2 again.

When i drove the Mk3 it seemed like a harder ride. It certainly down to preference and being a Mk2 owner im leaning for a mk2 again.

If I was you, I would book a test drive of the Mk2 and Mk3 also a sharan Mk2
See which one takes you fancy.

Im sure someone might be along shortly that can tell you if there good point / bad points for either.
