Had my 130tdi ally now for 5years 130k on the clock. Thinking of changing to the new mk3 as title.
Will I regret it, how do they compare?

For me it would depend on price of the mark 3 and how your car is? If it is in good condition and how reliable the Alhambra has been? 130k is not a lot of miles for a well maintained vw lump.

My car is basically sound, however ac needs sorting and a wheel bearing needs doing. I'm looking at about 9k for a top spec mk3. I was more interested in how they compare from the driving experience what with it being a completely different vehicle?

Oh well, its done, Mk3 deposit paid, test drive seemed ok, whole thing seemed a lot more sensitive and twitchy to drive though, hopefully i'll get used to it, planning to keep hold of the old for a bit just in case!
BTW anyone interested in one of these, nice cond. fully loaded.
