Mr. Muscle in the Turbo...What dya think?

Recently my Galaxy has been getting overboost codes.

I've seen people putting Mr. muscle in the exhaust side of the turbo to get rid of (in the short term) this problem.

Any negatives......yes....aside from the fact that it's a bodge job!!!

anything loosened by the Mr muscle will have to pass out through the catalytic converter which if not already sooted up could be made worse by this action.

I have used it in mine as a temperature until I get time to strip and clean properly.
Works a treat and because it breaks down the crap and burns off at high temp the carbon is chucked out exhaust after starting and getting a bootful. Got to say it worked a treat on freeing off vnt
