After many attempts that appear to have worked but did not finally got the top end oil leak sorted.
It's had new cam cover gaskets, tandem gaskets and seemed to be cured but always returned.
It turns out the cam cover was slightly distorted allowing very minimal contact with head at the rear.
New modified cover fitted and all is good, the gasket surface area is increased and the ccv part is also re worked on new cover.
Also found out although you can get aftermarket gaskets vw do not sell them they only sell cover and gasket as an assembly, after all the hassle I have had a can see why now! Damn plastic covers..

Very surprising that Ford should sell it as a spare part and not VW, usually it's the other way round- even more so considering that it's a VW power unit!
Always learning..... Often by mistakes!

I know it seems crazy they don't sell a runner gasket, according to the vw forums it's only certain engine codes gasket is available separate AUY not one of them.
Although even if a genuine vw was available for mine it would have still leaked.
Also the puk valve in my old one was suspect as I think it was not closing under boost so dragging excessive oil in to intake.
