Hello everyone, just joined and about to buy a 2010 galaxy, can anyone tell me where the chassis vin number stamp is please as I don,t want to get caught again buying a cloned vehicle, it was a very expensive mistake to just look at the body label and the windscreen label on a freelander I bought I need to see the factory stamp, also engine number location would be useful. Thanks all. Paul

I can't answer your question definitively but quite often the etched VIN number on the chassis itself is hidden under a little carpet flap in one of the footwells.
Always learning..... Often by mistakes!

The VIN should be visible in the windscreen, all car's from 1995 had that as a requirement together with the number of airbags fitted. Normally, its in the lower right side (when viewed from front)
03 Ford Galaxy 1.9 TDI 115 Ghia in Spruce Green Metallic
With cream leather interior, Full Bodykit, Remapped at 145bhp, Lowered on 18's
17 Volkswagen Touareg 3.0 V6 Diesel in Slate Blue
262Bhp AWD and Factory fresh...for now!
58 Ford Transit 2.2 TDI 115 in Frozen White
With retrofitted everything except another slidey door! :)

Ford vehicles are usually under a flap drivers side carpet just below the seat.
