speedo sensor

Hi does anyone know where the sensor for the speedo is located on a 1.9 tdi 2002 galaxy mk2 thanks

Not 100% but I think it is a transducer fitted in to diff housing of gearbox by where shaft comes out on vw stuff rather than an average from abs speed sensors.
