Replacing radio with SatNav/Radio

We just picked up a second Hand 2014 Galaxy but it has no reversing camera or satnav, something my wife wanted really (and on past performance probably needs!). I am not sure if I can get a unit that will replace the radio headunit and give us a DAB radio/satnav and camera input.

Anyone done this or have any recommendations?

Cheers

There are limited options, due to the ovalised shape, unless you go for a regular brick and an adaptor.  There's a company called Eneon (Eonon?) that does all-singing, all-dancing beasties quite cheaply.  Their quality seems to have improved substantially recently.  But no DAB, so you would need an adaptor like Autodab.

You could also go for OEM.  The Blaupunkt NX(?) satnavs come in two types, DAB and not DAB.  The DAB ones have an input for a camera but it needs to be the specific camera for this unit, I understand.  Silly money for those, even second hand, and they rarely have all the bits you need for installation.  You also need to be aware that you may need to swap control modules or update firmware to get it to work or for all features to be enabled.

Other companies are jumping on the bandwagon of replicas.  Here's one from Germany.

Seems to have all you want although the camera, steering wheel control adaptor and DAB+ tuner  are extra.  I'd want to see it working (in real life, not a video) before I bought it.  The early adopters of Eneon were not happy with the performance at all.

Good luck with the search.  I've been looking for the same thing for two years.  I am, however, exceptionally tight.
