Hi guys, just had my auto gearbox rebuilt do to a few issues..
And now the thing is, is playing up slighly. It doesnt miss any gears, but the thing is, when i'm driving in any gear on semi auto, no matter how high the rev counter is, if I take my foot out of the throttle, the rev counter drops immediatly, even if i'm on the motorway in 5th it happens, and if I put my foot down, the revs go up, but the the speed, it takes a while to increase..
And this happens in any gear...

Yes. Its under warranty. I just Picked it yesterday, but the guys keeps telling me the grarbox is OK, its the engine that has problems, the turbo, he says, is overboosting and it messes up with the gearbox ecu...(he is just giving me a lamme excuse??... engine is sound and healthy)

Can it be a case that the throttle sensor is not properly aligned with the gearbox ECU? Some guys say to turn the ignition on, but not start the car, depress the pedal fully for 20seconds and start the engine, and it should solve it..

Can anyone help?

have you done a vcds code read,   that should point to any overboost or problems,  sounds a bit of a lame excuse to me as well.
If not, get a lead from ebay and download the Rosstech free software and plug it in for a code read
dont let them fob you off.
