Hi all
We have a 2001 v6 galaxy that's suffering from an intermittent misfire ive put a code reader on and the following codes come up
17978,16684,16687,16825,17550,16685,16689,17658
It doesn't do it all the time and does clear and run fine wife has said its only started doing it since we have started having this constant rain any help would be great thanks

That's a lot of codes and I suspect a number of them are historic. Clear the codes and see what comes back, the V6 is prone to eating it's way through coil packs so you probably have one or more on the way out and the more humid weather is helping them to arc.

Clear the codes, go again and then rescan to see what's new.

Oh yes I know I actually keep a stock of coilpacks thing I'm worried about is someone has said could be camchain related ,but surely that wouldn't be intermittent

Also a spray with ignition sealer may help keep the damp off the leads.

Thanks for the replys ,sorted it today cylinder 3 coilpack was faulty
