Need to replace the water pump on my Galaxy 2.3 2001 Auto.

I can't seem to find any new water pumps for under Ã,£100 (the garage said I should be able to get one from ebay for under Ã,£40).

Any ideas?

If you go to GSF car parts and put in your vehicle reg, depending on the build date of your vehicle, part no 170FO0470 should do the job, cost...... Ã,£43.

Thanks, I take it that it's chain driven so don't need the extras?

On the 2.3 petrol I think it's driven from the alternator belt........
