ABS/ESP Lights on and off randomly. Stereo flickers on and off randomly.

Like the topic is saying. The ABS/ESP lights come off and on randomly. When they are showing, the ABS seems really sensitive and will start to kick in very quickly when I start breaking.

The computer has been replaced so I have a hard time thinking it's that.

At the same time, the stereo dies on me from time to time.. Usually within the first minutes after I start up the car. Also, sometimes the backdoor refuses to open unless I have opened one of the side-doors first.

Any suggestions? And forgive me if my questions seems stupid. I am no car expert sadly.. :(

I own a Sharan 2001 4WD - 6 Gears AUY motor 7M if that helps.

Hello and  welcome5

You will need to check for any fault codes present

The tailgate door will not open if the engine is running and other doors are closed, this is to prevent unauthorised entry.

With VCDS lite (full version) need a code clearing or want to scan for faults in the north kent area, PM me. All for a pint of Strongbow.

Check the fuse box by battery for signs of overheating on the 2 large cables.
I had similar strange issues with mine and it was high resistance in alternator and interior electrics cable lugs causing low voltage issues.
