HI Folks, problem with the 2008 1.8 TDI Galaxy. Working fine all day, jumped into it, won't start, just churning away without catching. It did this before about 5 years ago and the nice Ford man gave me a procedure to follow; fasten seat belts, turn ignition to I to II x four times, press button. But its still not working. Help? I've tried changed batteries in fob.

have you tried using your spare key to see if it starts?

if it does have you lost the pats chip from your original key?
