Wipers going mad

Hi just wondering if anybody has had a similar problem, soon as I've to 35mph and above the wipers come on themselves at full speed go off for a couple of secs and on again,I've took thefts out fortunately it's been dry.

its either the wiper switch or the rain sensor under the rear view mirror?.
