There is a small exhaust pipe under the rear floor on the passenger N/S this is a second heater for the rear passengers. Mine smokes on start up ,and stops after a couple of mins. I have done a lot of searching and am now about to strip it and replace a glow plug which is hope fully at fault this PDF doc should help others . Fingers crossed I fix mine
The glow plug is any of these part numbers

Excellent document. i hope to tackle the heater one of these days. As my AC doesn't work either it's Arctic or Desert gear in the car depending on the season! Good job all the windows open, really.
