I have a leak from bottom of sump gaurd it's a brown liquid that smells like sulphur has anybody got any ideas? it would b appreciated thanks

I'm not sure about the V6 but I recall on some of the Mk1 TDI's an issue where the undertray would touch the bottom of the pressed steel sump, and as the the insulation foam in the undertray would hold water it would cause the sump to rust and over time begin to leak engine oil.

Regardless, you need to take the undertray off to get a better look.
