key fob battery orientation

hello, new to site. a grandson thought he was doing me a favour by changing batteries in two button key fob for mk 2 galaxy, dropped it and can't remember which way round the two batteries are placed. I didn't see the inside of the key fob before it was dropped and not had a two button fob before so I'm as muchin the dark as him| can anyone help please?  PDB

+ up, so they go neg down into the gubbins and you are left looking at the top + side before you snap it closed.

Also make sure you still have the transponder chip if its been dropped, that's normally one of the first things to dislodge and you won't be starting the car without it.
