Hi All, Does anyone know how I remove the Rear Tailgate Cluster light the one on the Boot so I can change the standard W5W bulbs to LED. I have removed the 4 long Wing nut type screws but for some reason the cluster wont pop out. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks

yes, there are those plastic wing nuts inside the wing that are tricky to get at, and when you undo them, the threads are really long, so it seems to take ages. Make sure you don't drop them inside the wing...
Once those plastic wing nuts are off, just keep wriggling it, and from outside of the car, it will pull off towards you when standing behind the cluster.

When you get the cluster off, it will have the electric cables for the bulbs, which you can then easily disconnect.

Will try and upload photos later if it helps...

Thanks Gethin for the info they are a bit tight to remove and I thought maybe there was something else attached to them as I can't get them loose butif you could upload some pics that would be great. Cheers Andy

Just got some pictures for you, hope they help. Notice on one of them (the one with the metal chisel pointing at the screw) how close the screw is to the one side of the hole. I used the chisel, and tapped it - to force the screw off the steel.  Also, note the two plastic plugs, one on each corner.

When I've put it all back together, I only use 3 of the 4 plastic wing nut things, and it seems to hold it firm and tight. Can't be bothered struggling with the 4th one at 3:50am when I need to change a light bulb...

Hope this helps...

Cheers Geth I managed to get them off with a forced but gentle wiggle and a jiggle, I also did exactly what you mentioned by only replacing 3 wing nuts as the forth one was a pain in the bum lol. I also found the rear side cluster a lot easier to remove as there were only a couple of wing nuts and now I have replaced all my taillight bulbs to LED instead of the Standard bulbs, Have you changed yours to LED by any chance. Andy 8-)

No, kept all mine as standard, I just make a note of the mileage whenever I change any bits on the galaxy. Standard headlights last so much longer than the osram nightbreaker
