Hello I changed the fuel filter in my 07 mk3 galaxy 2.0tdci I have tried to refill the pipes with a hand primer but when the pipe gets full the diesel seems to be going somewhere from the pump I must of put in about half a litre but everytime I reconnect the pipes the diesel goes low again I am attaching a picture any help will be appreciated

Usually after renewing a fuel filter I've tended to use a mityvac on the outlet pipe from the fuel filter to draw the fuel through & ensure the filter is itself full before attempting to start the engine, I've not had any issues with starting when using this method.

Or are you suspecting fuel is leaking somewhere else which is causing your non starting problem?
