Hi Chaps, I was Changing the Oil on the car Yesterday and Decided to clean a thin Clear rubber pipe which ran past the Oil filter which Looks either like a breather pipe or a aircon release pipe but Me being so clumsy I decided to wipe it while pulling downwards and it popped off, Would anyone know what it actually attaches too so I can re-connect it. Thanks

If you are able to post a picture of the pipe and it's surroundings then that may aid us to identify it? What sort of diameter is it?

Hi Yes Sorry, I have attached two photos one of the Pipe and the oter of the engine bay where I am pointing roughly of the direction the pipe is located. cheers

Hi. Not sure if its because I am using a corporate computer, but I cannot see the photos.
I have a 2.2 TDCi and could compare your pics to my engine this evening... if I can access the photos.

Sound like the drain tube from the base of the fuel filter

Great Thanks Dave the pics are brilliant. I will be re-attaching the pipe in the morning, I had a feeling it wasn't anything serious but its obviously there for a reason so I will pop it back on soon as. Thanks again for that Cheers Andy
