parking sensor speaker

got a number for the sensor speakers
from VW
W8EO 919 279 Priced Ã,£12... =+vat

Have not seen it yet, but am assured it is correct one
Ford has no ref number to it but quoted Ã,£25
guess which one I am ordering

Whats wrong with it? Its not something I've ever seen fail as its only a little piezo sounder?

rear speaker sounds ok
one under seat does not
I have not been back to have sensors fitted yet
and was checking if this was part of the problem.
another post in old forum reported the system came back when this was changed.
have not pulled any connections yet but large brown wire seems to have a bit of corrosion showing at the nut

When I connected the two sender units
both buzzers worked
