Hi Guys n gals, Would anyone know how I remove the middle Air vent on the dashboard of a MK3 Galaxy as my wife was a bit heavy handed and broke of the internal pin or hinge which connects/opens the both flaps at the same time. All Help much appreciated

I can't speak from experience on this so it's an educated guess on my part, but a quick look at the style of vent from the side (look at the third image along closely) suggests it's a snap fit into the dash on a set of plastic lugs. In my experience these kind of things are a PITA to get out, I'd be wary about trying to lever the old vent out against the dash for fear of marking it, as those lugs typically take a lot of force before they let go. I'm guessing if you were to take the radio out you may open up some access to apply force to the lugs directly.
Always learning..... Often by mistakes!

Cheers and Thanks for the photos. I didn't think of looking on Ebay for  bit of guidance but at least now I have a rough guess where the release clips are, thanks again. Andy
