My Traction control light and abs are on I have had this since I won the car at auction in February.
Yesterday was actually the first day I was able to get the wheels off as there was no locking nut socket so I spent yesterday morning doing some gorilla work on removing them and replacing them with normal nuts . There was no time to have a good look but in the next couple of weeks I need to replace the front disc and pads So I was wondering if anybody had any idea of the TC light I am going to inspect and clean the ABS sensors I would like to think these are all interlocked but I may be wrong ...Many Thanks

Before you start tinkering with it you really need to check for fault codes that are logged, this can save time and pinpoint the area that needs attention.
Get a VCDS lite lead like this to use with a laptop you can scan your own car and retrieve codes and other info.

2023 VW Transporter T6.1 SE In Silver 2.9TDI 150PS. 7 Speed DSG Wheelchair accessible day vehicle.

With VCDS lite (full version) need a code clearing or want to scan for faults in the north kent area, PM me. All for a pint of Strongbow.

As Chris says you need to scan it, a lot of the codes in the ABS, AirBag and Steering controllers won't auto reset so it could be a rectified fault which hasn't been cleared. If not the scan will give you a pinpoint diagnosis so worth doing.

Where abouts in the South West are you? There are a few of us down this way who would scan it for you if you don''t have the cable.

Thanks I only have a U480 scanner I have only used it once about 3 weeks ago to clear the light on my Astra van . On the galaxy it recognises a misfire but does not appear to notice these faults . I am in Cullompton junction 28

Ahh - your reader will see the engine controller only (and only just tbh). VAG cars require more specialist kit as the control tasks are shared by multiple controllers.
