I have a galaxy mk3 1.8tdci 07 and possible have a fuel leak but cant find the source.
If anyone has any knowledge of possible locations please contact me, also could be helpful if any photos of areas as well.

Thankyou all

For you to suspect a fuel leak there must be some evidence of leakage, is an area wet with fuel or can you just smell it?
Always learning..... Often by mistakes!

Its both can smell the fuel without running the engine and noticing fulid on the floor under the car.
I have taken off the under tray and its wet but we have had alot of rain but can smell the fuel

Right, so it's in the engine bay area? And it's enough to leave fuel on the floor if you leave the vehicle parked overnight? If this is the case I would try leaving the undertray off and after letting the vehicle sit overnight see whereabouts the fuel has landed on the floor the following day (you need a dry day/night ideally!), this should help narrow down where any fuel is leaking from- e.g, front or rear of engine, drivers or passengers side etc.

Have possibly found the problem, there are bubbles around an inlet. Oh bugger.
I think its going to be expensive as i dont work at mo got made redundant and money is tight as a gnats arse.

Correction to previous comment its not the inlet its an injector

That's not necessarily major aggro to sort, it could be something as simple as a loose union or leaking return pipe or something, can you post a picture of the area it's leaking from?
Always learning..... Often by mistakes!

Will see if i can take a photo or quick film of the problem tomorrow

Hi chris

I have tried to trim the video down as its to large to send by email.
Im going to a local garage tomorrow and have a word with them about the problem.
I had a friend have a look and he thinks it could be the seals the have gone cause the engine runs ok without cutting out. But will c what the garage says tomorrow

Thanks again
