2.8 v6 mk2 question .help needed

hello .

i need to find a part number for a mk 2 v6 2.8 galaxy .

basically ive brought from an online scrap yard these big front calliper assembly from what i believe to be from the above vehicle or a vr6 mk 2 sharan to fit on my vw transporter t4.

its all gone well except ive lost the brake pad retaining clip.

i ordered part number 4a0 615 269 from vw as the sales advisor brought this up on their system as pad retaining spring for a mk2 sharan vr6 .
so i picked it up today and its different /wrong so now i need to see if the spring from the for the v6mk 2 galaxy is the same but im struggling to find it anywhere let alone purchase one.

i could do with some part numbers so i can look at a picture of it

I think the one you need is 7M3615269A it's more of a flat blade spring as opposed to a wire spring

It's not the flat one that looks like a moustache but the in the link images you sent me , it's about 6 images down , a wire type clip but with a square shape section in the middle .listed as euro van , whatever that is . Am I right to take your part number to vw and order it .

I have a photo of the clip I need but don't know how to post it on here . Thanks for the help . Your new item number has given me new hope 👍

If it's the one Here then it should be that number minus the A.
