Extra heat as I go around a roundabout

I have a 2006 MKII and the coolant level is up at max on the expansion tank.
I have noticed when I am on a roundabout there is a nice blast of heat in the cabin.
I was nearly contemplating raising the expansion bottle a little to see if that helps.
I have not noticed if the run on pump is running, but would that cause me to have an extra blast of heat while I am on a roundabout?
Also the recirculating flow in to the expansion bottle is like a trickle.  Maby I should also check the t-piece while I am at it?

Has anyone else here noticed this?

Me too, wondered about
Dont use water so have investigated no further
