Hi all
Has anyone swap front seat bases over?can it be done?
My drivers seat base is knackered and a quick ebay search shows passenger seats a lot cheaper then drivers.
So can they be swapped over without too much drama?

Which bits are you needing to swap? Just the base pan/foam/cover or the actual frame as well?
Always learning..... Often by mistakes!

Complete basemust be easier ,foam is knackered. My thinkibg is whole base would presumably just swap at hinge

At a quick glance it doesn't look like the runner mountings are offset so you may get away with it, as long as the frame has provision to mount the seatbelt buckle on the opposite side. I'm pretty sure the base cover and foam pad are the same profile on either side. I'm assuming the only wiring in there is going to be for the side airbags (if fitted) and seatbelt pretensioner. The drivers seat base does have height adjustment though which I think the passenger side lacks?

Ah forgot about height adjustment
