Hi Guys

Wonder if you guys might be able to help me I have a 2007 VW Sharan 1.9 TDI 115 PD that has no heating whatsoever front or rear.

Background to the car:
Aux Heater works fine - no fault codes
New Thermostat and coolant
Heating in rear worked but stopped working few weeks prior to Thermostat change and Coolant change
Engine heats up as normal but no change to internal temperature

I am at a bit of a loss on what could be wrong, there is no coolant loss and return pipe is clear I have ordered a new front heater matrix and flap control motor as I am at a bit of a loss what else could be wrong

Ouch, especially this time of year in Scotland!

Quite a list of Q's to help diagnose this please:

How did it come about? Working ok and gradual decline or just no heat one day?
Blower fans running?
Aux Coolant pump running?
Climate panel flashing? (assuming its climate and not manual)
Needle at 90 and not moving when warmed up?
How long to warm up?

Yeah terrible weather for it

Front was a gradual decline that's not worked for a while but rear worked then just stopped one day.

Blower runs perfect

Not sure will need to check the Aux coolant pump

Climate is flashing checked the codes and gave a Code pointing at Speedo G22 but this didn't make much sense sorry forget the exact code

Need reaches 90 and stays there and warms up in about 20 mins

Is the primary water pump definitely ok and working correctly, i.e, impeller not loose on the shaft? If it's a fault with a matrix or motor flap it seems odd both front and rear heating isn't working, unless it's a fault with the control panel itself.
Always learning..... Often by mistakes!

Water pump and timing belt were swapped less than 10,000 miles ago and sorry front broke a wee while before the rear but with the rear working I never got round to fixing the front

Are the coolant hoses feeding the matrixes getting hot when the engine is up to temperature?

Checked the aux coolant pump and that's working fine also checked the rear hoses and they are very hot

The front matrix hoses are cold so guessing the matrix in the front must be broken. Provided I was checking the right pipes these located behind the aux Coolant pump going into the bulk head?

The fault code on the climate panel is 01185 - Rear fresh air blower(V80) - 35-10 intermittent which I am guessing explains the issue with the rear heaters
