rear tyres uneven wear

i have some wear on outside of both rear tyres bushes seem fine springs and dampers not to old the only worn bushes are the arb ones what could be wearing the tyres on outside

Have those tyres been on the rear since new?

fitted new mid december

Most of the time its a heavy load (ie, 5/6/7 people) and tyres which aren't extra load rated. Have a look on the sidewall, make sure it says "Reinforced" or "Extra Load" or something similar - if not they aren't up to the job!

its only 2 up with dog in boot and max 2 seats in back dont think tyre rating will matter using same tyres on my mondeo they get hammered in the corners and still wear equally the neighbour had cheap tyres on hers and no issues with uneaven wear on the rear

Couple more questions, how long have you had the car?  And what was the condition of the tyres that came off in December and how old were they?

Its not so much that, the Galaxy REQUIRES extra load tyres due to the chassis weight. FYI if you don't have them, you'll probably have your insurance voided.

the tyres that were on the back now on front the rears that are on now are running 36 psi im using 205 55 16  had the car since October was running the 215 55 16 on the rear till december havent had geometry checked yet thats still to come as got steering gaitor and top mounts to do tracking is out slightly pulling left was worse before balljoints was done

the tyres that were on the rear has slight cracking with age will get these done in next few weeks before tracking is done
