Fuel Ran Low - Now won't Start - Help Please

Hi. My diesel 130 Galaxy was very low on fuel, when I parked it a week ago, nose down, on our very steep drive.
When I've tried to start it today, it will not fire.  I put 2 gallons of Diesel in and it fired up and ran / revved ok for a minute or so but when I took my foot off the throttle, she died and now won't start again.

Can anyone suggest what's wrong and how to sort it out please?  I'm thinking crap from the bottom of the tank may have blocked somewhere but I've no idea where to start looking.

Any help or suggestions (Other than the obvious re. fuel levels  ) appreciated muchly.

Got the neighbour to tow me up the drive and once on the flat, hey presto, she started

Have you ever looked at the inside bottom of the tank? (It's more a rhetorical question tbh!)

The pickup pump lives in its own little bucket and is the lowest point so it always has fuel when low and moving around corners. The downside is that when on a slope and you turn on the engine the pump primes and what little fuel is in their is pumped out. The return pipe (and filler) are much higher so misses the bucket and runs to the front.

Ok so that's a fairly boring post but someone might someday think "I wonder why?" lol
