Hi all,

Has anyone had the same problem as me? Randomly when driving, I guess due to vibration/rough roads the interior lights come on and flicker on and off. Sometimes it doesn't happen, other times it does. They don't dim out as per locking the doors or getting in etc just on and then off. I guess somewhere its shorting to earth?

Any ideas where to start looking? The push to make buttons on the front door feel free to move in and out and the tailgate is correctly shut so I've looked at the very basics.

maybe take a look at the plungers on the door frames.iirc the rubber comes off to expose the switch.

For the price I've replaced the door switches and I'm still driving around with flashing interior lights. I suspect it's the boot switch now.... Can anyone tell me where it is? As theres no push "button" switch I guess it's in one of the latches?

Correct its mounted to the side of the handle within the tailgate.

from personal experience, check rear door switches;   my nsr has been damaged & replaced twice due to being caught by the kids getting out of the car. eurocar parts sell the genuine items.

If the switch is in the tailgate, then I guess it could also be the wiring in the tailgate gaitor.
