Hi,
Following that rather useful link to the relevant page: http://eucatparts.com/?action=cat_ford_part&s_id_part=1247108&s_id_model=118&s_code_image=G014975305, shows no screws for the quarter window, but references tape as part of the assembly. In theory then the rubber surround might peel away from the opening, with the glass mounted in it. Perhaps some warm air would help release it?
I am faced with this task too as I want to replace the N/S/F wing, but am a little concerned that I may crack the quarter glass.

Does anyone else have any knowledge or advice on this?

Many thanks,
TCD

if you say its tape,i suspect its something similar to glazing tape?if so i can see it being a right P.I.A of a job to do.

maybe a warm filling knife to help melt the tape?

might be worth asking your local friendly dealer how there mechanics do the job???

or trawl youtube for some pointers?

Good idea. Just been here too http://workshop-manuals.com/ford/s-max.galaxy_2006.5_03.2006/mechanical_repairs/5_body_and_paint/501_body_and_paint/501-11_glass_frames_and_mechanisms/description_and_operation/glass_frames_and_mechanisms/ which states that the fixed glass is glazed directly to the window opening flange with Polyurethane adhesive.

I like your idea re approaching Ford operatives for some tips on removal. I work very close to a Ford dealership so will try my luck tomorrow and report back....
