Heated Rear Screen/Mirrors not working

The heated rear window and heating mirrors have stopped working on my 2001 Galaxy.  From the haynes manual, they all are on the same circuit, so I suspected fuses /relay.  The fuses are fine, and you can hear the relay operating when I press the rear screen heating button.  Problem is I can't find the relay to check it, and find where the wiring starts to the heaters!  The relay doesn't seem to be listed in the car manual or the haynes manual.  I've looked in level 2 and level 3 under the driver sides, and it sounds like its operating around there, but I can't find it.  I removed the relays one by one.  Only one stopped the click when pressing the button, but looking at the manual, it looks like this is the consumer cut-off relay (R26 in the Ford Manual) which I presume is the relay that cuts power to the unnecessary circuits when starting the car?

Has anyone any idea where the relay is, or what could be the issue?

Hello and  welcome5

The relay for the heated screen is part of the GEM board, this is the large circuit board inside the black casing and requires complete removal to access, these relays are soldered to the board and are not generally removed
What's more likely is you have broken wiring in the tailgate gaiter and possibly drivers door gaiter.

Thanks,

That makes sense.  I would agree about the broken wiring, except all three have stopped working at the same time.  I've have several wires break in the tailgate which I've repaired, but the heated screen seems intact.  Similarly the wiring in the doors seem intact.  I just needed to identify the output from the relay to eliminate that.  The Haynes manual shows its pin 8 on one of the connectors, so I should be able to check now.  If that's OK, it must be broken wiring.
