No hot air

Hi, I have VW Sharan, the fan blows out only cold air, any advice?

Is it a problem you've had for a while or something that's recently happened? The diesels do take a while to warm up from cold and blow warm air so on a short trip you don't get much warmth from the heater, especially if the booster heater has stopped working. If it's just stopped blowing warm air full stop then there could be a problem with something like a directional flap in the blower box or at least the control for it. Is the coolant level ok, it's not losing coolant at all or retaining pressure in the header tank even when the engine is cold?
