Hi
I have a Ford Galaxy 2.0L Diesel . Automatic transmission.
I have noticed recently that the car 'shudders' when starting from a standstill and this is especially marked when starting any uphill starts. The car runs perfectly otherwise and we are very happy with it. This shuddering like the engine seems to struggle to engage is worrying. The car does a lot of short runs and has been properly service etc. We brought it to a Ford dealer recently who said they checked and and found all was OK. In fact they said they uploaded some new 'software'. We have not noticed any improvement. The car is still under warranty and we are wondering has anyone else noticed similar problems. Posts have previously mentioned something about a sensor???
If anyone has suggestions or experience of this we would be very grateful.

Yours etc
Carlf

well as it is still under warranty,i personally would take it back to the garage you bought it from and get them to go out and drive it with you.that way they will know exactly what you are experiencing.dont be fobbed off, because once the warranty runs out and worse case scenario you do have problems with the gearbox it aint goner be cheap.
