Engine Knocking - Ford Galaxy 2.0(petrol)-mk2-intake manifold?

Hello!

I have engine knocking. I drive almost year with that car. My petrol car sounds like diesel. Knocking is heard in the idle. On the way it is not heard almost.
I was thinking that is need replacing compensators,  but when service master change chain, he said that compensators is ok.
The oil preasure is ok too. The master said that may be one piston has defect...but it only guess.
Last week i found this youtube video, where knocking coming from intake maninfold wings.

The problem looks very like mine. On ford galaxy there is very hard to see something, because intake is behind engine.

Is may car has such wings in intake manifold?

The video you posted shows what looks like either a secondary throttle designed to improve engine torque/ performance at certain revs, or just a different style of throttle (to the more common single throttle valve) with a butterfly on each intake. I may be wrong but I don't believe the 2 litre petrol engine used in the Galaxy had that kind of system.

Very hard to diagnose noises without actually hearing it.
If the noise is from the top end it's most likely camshaft or hydraulic tappets, another possibility is worn timing chain and tensioner.

This is not rare problem. I searched many forums and there are some peoples that complain abaut galaxy petrol engine that sounds like diesel in idle.
Those peoples were changed timing chain, tensioner, compensators etc. and nothing has changed.
I did not find answer yet.
The one man says that may be oil pump is not working well in the idle, but my master said that my engine oil preasure is good.
I am still searching answer....
