Hi
I am really trying to change my pollen filter but cant get the plastic chamber out, it seems to be blocked by the wiper mechanism & adjoining Wiper supply tubes. In the guide it says that there are 3 nuts holding this in place. Could anyone explain or show where they are as this is driving me mad!
Cheers very much!

seriously it is not that bad a job if you follow
the instructions.

Hello and  welcome5

Another option is removing the wiper linkage to get to the filter easier, and grease up the wiper spindles while removed.

With VCDS lite (full version) need a code clearing or want to scan for faults in the north kent area, PM me. All for a pint of Strongbow.

I've changed ours every year on the MK1 we had, after removing the scuttle slide left arm in from the left and feel for the release clip on the left of the plastic housing,  push on the release tab and it comes forwards,  then slide it out to the left and out behind the wiper assembly.
Refitting is where the knack comes in. you have to slide in to the right but twist a little  turn a little and use your right hand to then pull it along back to its place, ensure the left hand tabs sit in place then push on the right side to relocate the locking tab. it takes practice and once you have done it a few times you know what to feel for.  it can be done.  I've yet to try on our MK2  hope its the same  but got wipers and upper scuttle to remove so a longer job already.
