Hi peeps I've tried making use if the info on here but not sinking in. Can anybody tell me what the 85% towing weight wood be for my galaxy.
Will a 1725kg mgw caravan be ok or is that too much.

Cheers for the link. One more question do I need a do I need a bypass relay? I intend on fitting twin electrics so any advice would be good many thanks Paul.

You should ALWAYS use a bypass relay on modern cars, else you are asking the onboard computers to handle the extra wattage of all the trailers lighting.

Hi Paul
While I didn't fit twin electrics to the car I did fit  bypass relays...ie. 4 relays...1 for each indicator, 1 for lights and 1 for brake light. I made it myself  so its not difficult. I believe Towsure sell the kits for bypass electrics. Google it or look here, I'm sure somebody has posted a diagram for wiring the relays yourself.
Enjoy...
