traction contol light and engine managememnt fault not showing codes

hi everyone thanks for the add I hope this message hasn't duplicated because I just wrote it all out and pressed post and it disappeared.lol.my names ken and I am writing this on behalf of my dad who recently purchased an 07 galaxy 2 litre tdci. it is intermittently flashing up traction control light and engine management fault comes up on display and an amber I....the car I believe then goes into limp mode. until turned off it then clears and drives fine again. it has been on diagnostics two different  computers both independents and shows no stored fault codes and even when message was on showed no fault code. has anyone had experience of this or can anyone please help. we are at a loss what to do. many thanks....
