Hi I got a 2001 tdi zetec with a 115bhp engine and just recently started having probs with the temp gauge , gauge never goes higher than half way and will stay there go round a corner and needle just falls back and stays there , engine seems to run fine heater works ok tried looking for a water temp sensor but can't find it ? Any tips advice much appreciated thank you

Hi look in the reference library you will find my how to change coolant temperature sensor

I've just noticed my gauge isn't goin up as it should now either although I am getting hot air through the cabin no probs. is this to do with the coolant temperature sensor? I have had the coolant bottle bolts out a few times recently whilst removing the bulkhead extension etc does this sound like a bad connection on the sensor?
