rear seat set up

Hi,
Before I start to remove seats around,i thought I asked here.
I want to take middle seat out of middle row .This seat has a seat belt coming down from ceiling.Can I use the middle seat on the left or right side of the 2nd row if needed.I understand I cannot use the right or left seat in the middle because of the seat belts.Also do the rear seats/middle seats fit in each others spaces.The reason for middle seat removal is that my boy loves to seat in back and the other 2 kids like to sit by windows and it easier for him to get in and out.

The middle seat of the second row can ONLY be used in the centre or drivers side (offside) positions, although it has two buckles (for the three point seat belt) the offside one is a different size, the full size (normal) clasp on the belt itself will only fit in the nearside 'stalk'. Although any of the rear seats will physically fit in any position in the rear, the placement of the seatbelt buckle on the seat determines which side it can be used on to secure a passenger.

that's save me messing about with seats,was hoping to put middle seat behind passenger.Nice to know that the rest of the seats fit in different place (bearing in mind seat belts)

Changed seats around. There are labels fitted under the seats stating where they can go.  Middle seat states middle /left.I have now put middle seat behind passenger .Did check to see what  rear passenger seat said ( left)Thanks

Interesting, I was wrong! You are correct, the label does say the middle seat can only be used in the middle and LEFT (nearside) positions, I've just physically checked my Galaxy and both of the buckles on the middle seat are the same physical size (though the clasps are different- the offside fitting clasp for the centre seat belt has a step on it to prevent it from locking into the nearside buckle), and you CAN insert the normal seatbelt clasps into either buckle on either side, they seem to lock in ok to both buckles so I wonder why you're not supposed to use the middle seat on the offside?! It seems it would work, unless it's got anything to do with the seat back folding levers.
