Hi.  Forgive the stupid question.

I have a 2.8v6 and on the air filter box is a hose that goes down below the radiator.  It seems to attach to a motor of some sort.

I can't find any reference of what this is and am looking to fit a after market air ram.  What am I disconnecting ?

Cheers

Karl.

Thanks guys.   It would Ppear to be the secondary air pump.  And since it's only used for pre heating the cat   I'll not worry about disconnecting it.

Thanks for your help
