Break or Repair

Just been given a Sharan for nowt!

shes a 1999 CL with 189K on. been used as an airport taxi to start and then as a dog wagon so not as new but was free!! everything works but the radiator is holed so just needs that doing and good to go. would you repair and sell or just break it for parts?

probably worth no more then Ã,£1500 TOPS.
could you not just replace the rad then either use it or sell it?
if you use it then after a period of time it dies then break it?

Can be difficult but not impossible to get rid of dog smells and pet hair but could be a good run around for a builder or window cleaner

Humm, to be honest a 99 with almost 200K and the CL is a base model isn't it? I can't imagine it being worth more then Ã,£800/900 - given the condition you describe, probably less then that

Mk1 parts don't go for a lot either, so my 2p would be to chuck a new rad it in and flog back on for an easy Ã,£500 profit
