Hi everybody being a long time since I posted on here. A friend of mine has just bought a Ford Galaxy. And has mentioned biodiesel and what I thought. To be honest it never entered my head. So I thought I'd ask a question on here what you all thought about biodiesel and will it hurt the car overtime or  instantly. I have never looked into it so I do not know.
Your thoughts and answers I mostly appreciated. Many thanks.

Everyone will have their own opinion
on this one.
My friend ruined his peuguot
after going biodiesel.
Another one runs an old LDV campervan
and swears by it.
There is 7% bio in ordinary diesel
from the pump
recently I ran Galaxy on sainsbury diesel
for 1200 miles it got more sluggish,
Running it now on a second tank of BP Ultimate
Definite improvement!!
So for me Iti s a NO.

Tony

Cheers for the reply. As I said never thought about it till the other day I'm not sure if I would risk my car. It's our life line and only thinking oh it's cheaper as I do 250 miles a week to work and back. It sounds to good to be true.

Hi do not use on MK2 will mess the pump also injectors up(as a mate of mine tried it and cost him big time),but it work's grand on the older mk1 galaxy one of my mate use it :) .

I wouldnââ,¬â,,¢t bother with gimmicks like bio diesel, you just canââ,¬â,,¢t beat the genuine stuff from shell to be honest.
I drive a Seat Alhambra 1.9Tdi which has 115bhp and an automatic gearbox.

I am happy to help you with all your questions. I am not a qualified mechanic but seem to be better at fixing my car than even the most experienced garages.

I have lots of friends here and very much enjoy talking with you all. Always remember, a motor car is a serious tool and should be treated with respect. Put your safety first, always.
