I have a recurring fault (flashing glow plug in dash keeps coming back after I clear the fault codes). The codes read:

0522 engine coolant temp sensor (g62) 30-10 open or short to plus intermittent.

01265 to decode all DCTs 31-10 please register/activate

Does anyone know what either/both of them mean?

Check the wiring and connector to the coolant temperature sensor.
If its ok replace the sensor.

With VCDS lite (full version) need a code clearing or want to scan for faults in the north kent area, PM me. All for a pint of Strongbow.

any idea which sensor this might be? As i recall there are two of them

If you have one in the housing that that the top hose is fitted to and one midway in the top hose, you need the one in the housing.
