Hi Guys,
My cigar lighter isn't working. I have changed the fuse. Any ideas on what it could be? If it is the socket is it easy to change?
Thanks

1st thing to check would be the fuse/s?

does the 1 in the rear boot work??

Fuse 7 in the central fuse box (passenger footwell) for the front cigar lighter ((ignition needs to be on)

Fuse FA6 in the rear side compartment for the auxiliary power socket

If the fuses are OK test the socket by probing the centre of the socket with a test lamp or multi meter, the socket body is the earth

The cigar lighter stopped on my smax.  When I checked the fuse it was ok.

I took it to my local garage and it was the fuse after all.   The hand book that I had said one fuse but it ended up being a completely different one.

So check all of your fuses
