Not sure if this has been discovered before or not but in case not I've found a site which has the proper Ford parts diagrams on, it's not got the full functionality of E-CAT (Ford's online parts database), there are FINIS numbers (no engineering numbers) but no prices or detailed descriptions that help decipher/filter between changes in production with respect to build date, left and right handed parts, or designate which model they apply to- eg, petrol, diesel, Ghia, Zetec, LX, left hand/right hand drive or territory etc. However, as a quick reference it may help identify parts or assembly/dissambly of some components, the link is just for the MK2 Galaxy but there are other Ford vehicles listed on the same site too:

There may be better sources out there with more description and info, in which case Admin please feel free to delete!
