my power steering pulley is wobbling and making rattling noise  do i need new pump also leaking from pipe going into pump  car  w 1.9 tdi galaxy

In a word yes, you can probably get the pulley as a desperate item but it sounds like the bearings have gone. Either replace with new or reconditioned - double check the pipe as it could be leaking fluid from the pump rather then the pipe itself

thanks for replie well got power steering pump fitted it then found out wrong one  cant find out how to get v belt

on power steering pump bk on  anyone hrlp ???

The belt should be really loose if the tensioner has been held? If its tight then replace the pump with the original and go get the right one!!

GOT RIGHT PUMP BUT  CANT  LOOSEN   V BELT TENSIONER   ANY HELP ::)

The tensioner is spring loaded and requires turning the pulley bolt clockwise to enable removing/replacing belt.

thanks for all the help final go it fixed FINAL  HAPPY NEW YEAR   getting water in drivers footwell  main wire loam  ON DRIVERS SIDE  ::)soaking wet  HELP
