Hi all,

Has anybody got any experience of ethanol (or RE85 as it's called here in Finland) conversion kits for Galaxy 2.3 petrol engine? Or how about the CNG/LPG versions? Concerning the LPG conversion I got reply from Ford Finland that the conversion is not recommended as the valves and the valve deck are not designed for those and they will break eventually.

But I have seen a lots of those converted (both versions) cars abroad, so they do exist.

Any experience?

my uncle has run his 2.3 on lpg for years with no problems and says  hes gets more mpg and more power
