21 plate?? Take it back.

He is fitting a dash cam so no need to take it back unless he wants to pay the dealer to fit it for him.

I bet that lovely car cost a few Bob, what sort of sum would we be talking about here

Yes, sorry. It was a bit of a stupid comment.

To be fair when I first read about the fuse box I also figured there was some kind of fault on the vehicle too, weââ,¬â,,¢re all busy people and itââ,¬â,,¢s easily done my friend!  [HAHA] cheers

It might be worth ringing the dealer you brought it from to see if they can ask the question of their workshop where the fusebox actually is, its a fairly basic customer service question for them after all and some cars do have them hidden from obvious view (behind the glovebox being a common location for example, but access to that area isn't always obvious).

Looks like the forum could do with a MK4 section maybe @Mirez ?

Just a note to catch up. I have now found the b*#$$y fusebox after a vist to Ford  and talking and seeing 2 service receptionist, 3 mechanic, salesmen, partsman I eventually seen the electrician who showed all were it is . The fusebox is on the n/s( passenger) under the glovebox on the firewall behind the carpet !!!! WHAT A STUPID PLACE!!!!. many thanks to all who helped

Thanks for posting back with the answer, it helps others out in the future. Least it doesn't sound like it was easy to find!

Iââ,¬â,,¢m just doing mine now, which fuse did you use? Iââ,¬â,,¢m gonna use 15.

Actually, number 2. 15 too big. Number 2 is power mirrors

After finally getting a fuse out, they are different [attachimg=1]

Hi I used a spare fuse place number one ( it had got a switched feed) . Used a 20 fuse a small fuse rather than a micro fuse ( there are 3 sizes) as these go into the micro size holders . Hope that helps

My fuse piggyback is not for a micro fuse unfortunately. Need to wait for one to arrive tomorrow.

I had the same problem ,have fun and good luck .,dave

Probably a stupid question, how do you know which ones are switched?

I used a tester on the terminal
